About the Buffalo Park Foundation

Home-Page.jpg

The Wainwright Buffalo National Park Interpretive Centre Foundation (Buffalo Park Foundation) was incorporated in 2001 to preserve the disappearing history of Buffalo National Park. One of the earliest and largest wildlife saving efforts in North America, the park was nationally and internationally renowned.

The Foundation's primary objective is to create a centre to commemorate the unique history of the former Buffalo National Park and a regional archive to protect and preserve important historical documents that are in danger of being lost.

The Buffalo Park Centre and Regional Archives will help the Foundation preserve, present, and interpret regional history for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.
